BBCP: From Screen To Page!

BBCP

This feature is from the Book Blogger Creativity Project created by Nori from ReadWriteLove28. A bunch of bloggers who joined were divided into groups to come up with our own bookish feature.

Our objective was to pick characters from a TV show/movie/anime and recommend books to them! Here are my characters and recommendations:

Megara from Hercules  WOULD LOVE Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen

Meg is a princess and she would most definitely love a meaningful, cute and swoony contemporary with a guy that was worth it. also, saint anything highlights strong friendships and i’m pretty sure meg would be all over this book.

Dr. Cameron from House M.D. WOULD LOVE Me Before You by Jojo Moyes

because of Dr. cameron’s past, i believe she could relate to this book more than most. the heartbreak and reality of this book just fits the show and cameron’s character so well. on the other hand, the feelings one gets from reading this book can get to anyone.

Queen Mary from Reign WOULD LOVE The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski

need i say more? queen mary and the mc in twc would be best friends and talk tactics all day and how to invade surrounding countries. also, boy drama? there’s time to relate to that too! yay for girls taking over!

Sybil from Sybil WOULD LOVE Made You Up by Francesca Zappia

in both cases, schizophrenia is involved and i believe sybil would love knowing that she isn’t alone in her condition. made you up is a great book and the unreliable mc would more likely than not comfort sybil and allow her to feel more comfortable with herself.

Amy Farrah Fowler from The Big Bang Theory WOULD LOVE The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh

amy looooves forbidden love, so hence by ‘a thousand and one nights’ retelling pick.she’d probably eat this book up in 12 hours and cry and go make sheldon into a khalid. also, she’d love not only khalid but all of the secondary characters! which is always always a plus.
